Anti-inflammatory effects

Various studies have been published praising the potential anti-inflammatory effects of consuming pomegranates, the research showed the fruit particularly helped inflammation in the gut for participants in the study. A similar study from The Journal of Research in Medical Sciences showed that their patients with type 2 diabetes, who drank pomegranate juice each day reported a decrease in inflammation in their blood only after 12 weeks. If you’re currently experiencing discomfort from inflammation try adding pomegranates to your diet and see if it makes a difference!

 

Good for your heart

A study conducted in 2013 showed positive results of drinking 150ml of pomegranate juice every day for two weeks where in some cases it reduced blood pressure for participants. Pomegranates can also reduce the risk of heart disease as they naturally improve the blood flow in your body to your heart, which decreases the potential risk of heart attacks or strokes.

 

Could improve memory

Pomegranates and pomegranate juice have been suggested to improve brain function regarding memory loss in the early stages. A trial asked participants who lived with memory loss associated with age to drink 8oz of pomegranate juice every day, and they expressed they found an improvement in their vision and performing tasks after just four weeks!
